Uumph! I love it. Man, I need to carry around a moleskin. I always have some douche-like legal pad on me...no one likes a legal pad.
It looks like he used a composition book for this one. As far as "no one likes a legal pad" goes- it's all in the moment. When you get your inspiration and put shit together, for me, that legal pad, composition book, restaurant menu, napkin, or receipt is just a part of the illustrations personality and memory.
